Be Your Own Ultimate Partner In Crime

You have your dreams and goals that you work on daily. Sometimes in a very conscious and focused manner, sometimes more casually, amidst the hustle of everyday life.

And occasionally, it slips through your fingers. Sometimes you feel like you’re just winging it. And let’s be honest, sometimes you are.

And how great is it to have a partner in crime who fully supports your dreams and ambitions, your biggest cheerleader who keeps you sharp, who occasionally slows you down or gives you a kick in the butt.

Someone who pushes you to do groundbreaking things you wouldn’t dare to do on your own, because they believe in you.

Someone you can confide your deepest secrets and insecurities in, someone who asks helpful questions, reassures you, puts things into perspective, or cooks you a delicious meal and offers you a blanket on the couch.

Someone who means all of this to you is truly worth their weight in gold!

When you have someone like that by your side, you are a blessed person, and I would say, cherish and appreciate this person to infinity.

But whether you have this ultimate partner in crime or not, they’re not always there, not at every moment of the day. There’s only one person in your life who can literally always be there, from beginning to end.

I won’t state the obvious.

When you read the above and consider it from the perspective that it’s about yourself and how you are there for yourself, what image does this evoke?

Are you then the person who fully supports your dreams and ambitions, who keeps you sharp, who occasionally slows you down or gives you a kick in the butt.

Someone who pushes you to do groundbreaking things because you believe in yourself.

Someone you can confide your deepest secrets and insecurities in, someone who asks helpful questions, reassures you, puts things into perspective, or cooks you a delicious meal and offers you a blanket on the couch.

In essence, all of this is about self-compassion:

Being lovingly present, motivating yourself, setting boundaries, and providing yourself with what you need.

On which of these points can you confidently say that you are your own ultimate partner in crime?
