Act like Picasso: don’t search, find. The old-school entrance to trendy manifestation.
“Je ne cherche pas, je trouve.” Picasso said it. And ever since I wrote a paper about him in high school — I was obsessed with this man — I have adopted his motto.
For years, I have been experiencing the benefits of his wisdom and attitude towards life. I don’t seek, I find.
Lately, I have been hearing regularly that I’m good at manifesting. The first time I heard it, I thought, “Me? Manifesting? How? I’ve never manifested in my life!”
Until I recalled Picasso’s words and realized that this is probably my way of manifesting.
I know what I want to see in my world, I keep my eyes open, suspend judgment, and before I know it, my dreamed-of future emerges into my field of view. Sometimes in a small gesture, sometimes in an incredible encounter.
Every time it happens, it feels like a little miracle.
It’s an attitude I recommend to all the managers I coach.
Know what you want for yourself, in your ideal organization, in your ideal team. Keep your eyes open and, in a relaxed manner, daily look for the small treasures that indicate (elements of) that ideal organization, that ideal team already exists. And build upon them.
This will trigger a fantastic chain reaction in the direction you envision.
This is how you lead yourself and your organization towards your dreamed-of future.
So act like Picasso, don’t search, find!
What is it that you would like to find for yourself, your organization, your team?
